All of the activities and stops are subjective, and optional. This guide is to give an overall view of the trip. All ideas are welcome, and no opinions are wrong. Except for all of KAT's.

Pick Barrie up night of 6th, bring up to LA, spend the night, next morning leave to NASA JPL appointment @ 1pm and then drive through Sequoia National until we check into a hotel near or around Fresno.
We spend our first day in the Sequoia National Park. Most of the park's wonders are close to the main road, and will be broken up into short walks. There are 2 main Sequoia trees to wonder at; the General Grant, and General Sherman. Both are similar in aspects.. both are just really huge freakin trees. And those are close short walks, so we can skip 1, or both, or go to both. All depends on our timing and moods. Again, everything is optional, just nice to have some of our options laid out for picking.
I read a lot of great reviews and articles about this meadow, how it is a magical place, a photographer's dream, and a must see. This too is a short walk right off the road. So it seemed like a good spot to take photos and kiss the air.
This is a view point right off the road, a really short little hike but extremely steep, with a lot of stairs. Mainly available for Kris if she would like to make a quick stop for some photos.
TIME TO REST: We will check into our night's stay somewhere close to Fresno, so that we have an abundance of restaurants to chose from at night nearby.
This is an optional tour that we can take of a beautiful underground garden that the owner built himself. The owner guides a 45 minute tour that visitors claim to be the best part of their Yosemite trips.. we can look into it some more and talk about if we should make a stop here before we head up to our destination.

Sun Mountain Gun Club
I thought this place would make a good and light breakfast that's not so boring, and a change of scenery from the rugged mountain life we are about to live the next couple of days. We all love tea, and seems fitting for our personalities to enjoy a stop here.
Not for our route, but a possible activity during our stay. Optional for anyone who wants to sit out.
Will most likely head to check into our cabin (TBD) in Groveland and keep Friday light on the hiking since there is a bit of driving.. maybe go exploring. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday mornings will be the designated optional hikes.
Not for our route, but heard it was a good coffee shop. Optional for anyone who wants to sit out.
