This time last year I packed my life into my Pontiac Vibe and took off for the West Coast for keeps, or so I thought (see "Ian and Dana Take the USA"). Fast forward a year - a year full of adventure and self-discovery - and here I am planning a trip BACK to the Midwest, my home of homes. A lot happened this past year that made me realize that as much as I love the West Coast, and as much as I still believe it will one day be my home, my heart is still in Ohio. Family is hard to leave behind, and I've decided to postpone my "permanent" relocation. So here's to another cross-country trip and all the old and new friends along the way.
If you know much about me, you probably know about my love affair with Seattle, or, more accurately, Washington in general. It's hard to leave this place, but I know I'll be back - that has never been a question. Til next time, Emerald City.
