Finally out of flat Kansas. Just after Denver we climb up to almost 9000 feet. I think a moderately early start is in order as the last 100 miles is going to be slow going.
Should be a beautiful trip mostly downhill to Moab, UT. The temperature will climb. We finally land in Moab for a two night stop. There will be some hiking. Plenty of water and sunscreen is needed along with cameras at the ready.
This area has too much stuff! Arches, Canyonlands some drives and some hikes. Then we are off to Kaibab for a four night stay. From there we go rafting, to the North Rim, Bryce, and Zion National Parks. We also have a side trip to Antelope Canyon. There will also be a need to relax a bit!!

237 miles to Headwaters....should be a beautiful drive. Need to stop at Albertson's in Jackson and stock up big time. During this 3 day stay we will ride horses (girls) and fish (Guys). I think there is also a lot to see driving around.
