If you're from Washington and have been wondering why you're waking up tired all the time, one woman is making a case for late night alien abductions. That might be more than a cup of coffee is going to fix.

According to a report recently filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), a woman, who opted to remain anonymous, was visited by a group of extraterrestrial beings while sleeping in her bed. She stated that in the wee hours of April 3, she became "excessively warm" and found herself unable to move her limbs.

"I was only able to move my head enough to see an entity standing at the foot of the bed," she reported. "I turned my head and noticed two more standing along the side of the bed behind my husband and he had an obviously disturbed look on his face almost as if he could tell they were there."

Even though the woman's dog was whimpering for help, the dog apparently proved no match for the beings that had descended upon the home.

"Our Pomchi dog was whining in her carrier where she sleeps. She's normally really quiet and doesn't wake us that often unless it is something serious.

The woman reported that "the entities" stood there for over half an hour, watching silently, before they slunk back into the night. After the beings were gone and she could once again move, she went to the window only to see a triangular craft taking off.

I did not really see much of the object that they could have come in on because it was outside. It was kind of a triangle shape when it took off and had been hovering about 100-200 feet off the ground. The object moved south before going over the mountains. My husband has no memory of anything that night or the morning after it happened, but still remembers waking up with a paranoid feeling.

Spokane County, WA currently ranks pretty low on MUFON's UFO hot-list, coming in at just 19 out of 50 states, which makes this case particularly interesting. MUFON hasn't officially commented on the sighting, but we might know more once an official investigation is completed.

In the mean time, you can have a much less terrifying run-in with beings from outerspace on our Extraterrestrial Highway Road Trip. Visit the site of the infamous Roswell UFO crash in 1947, scarf down some food at the Little A'Le'Inn, or even visit Area 51... well, sort of. Check out the trip here!
