We all know that Oregonians love their beer as much as they love being quirky, but a new spa in the town of Sisters is taking the passion for brewing to a new level of strange... by letting you take a dip in a tub filled with beer. Yep, that's right: you can take a hot bath in beer. Called Hop In The Spa, it was inspired by Eurpean beer spas, although it appears to be the first of its kind in the United States.

The reported health benefits of the "proprietary blend of beer, hops, barely, and herbs" are numerous: hops are said to soothe aches and pains, be great for your skin, destress, remove toxins, and even help with insomnia. The beer itself also contains nurients like selenium, magnesium, and B vitamins. They also offer body wraps with hops and massages with hop oil.

But while a beer soak can help with many ailments, there's one thing it can't do: get you drunk. But don't worry: the spa has an exclusive deal with Deschutes Brewery to provide patrons with a pint before their treatments, and is in the process of opening a beer garden so that you can enjoy a pretzel and another brew after you're done.
