Nice visitors center with a short movie that tells you what you're about to see. Always helpful! Spend as little or as much time as you like here. It's only like, $1 or something to get in. Look out for the 3 main graves-- Wild Bill, Calamity Jane, and Seth Bullock!

This is a beautiful spot to stop and take a walk. It's very inexpensive to get in and the gift shop guy is extremely friendly and knowledgeable!

A beautiful cemetery right in the Hills. Fun to walk around and find all of the old wild west characters like Wild bill Hickok and Calamity Jane! If you are in Deadwood, SD this is a beautiful spot to stop for a walk.

If you have any interest in cemeteries and the overall history of this area (and can walk on uneven and often steep dirt paths), this is a must-see waypoint. The self-guided tour was awesome, and there's an incredible sense of peace here.

We went early right when it opened and it was perfect. There was no one there and it was nice and quiet so we were able to really take it all in. When we went by later there was a line and a huge crowd. It was really interesting to see the graves of Wild Bill, Calamity Jane and Seth Bullock.

Great stop for us! The shop was closed because of COVID but the cemetery was open. Beautiful cemetery and a steep drive to get up to it.

This was a nice stop. Pretty cool to see Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane's burial sites. The trip up to see Seth Bullock's site was tough and the trees had grown in, so we really couldn't see anything (was supposed to have been able to see Friendship Tower).

The visitor's center had some interesting information, like how many of the grave sites were moved from an earlier cemetery.

Do not go here! I went with a couple dogs in the car. No pets allowed on the cemetery. I can respect that. So I left my dogs in the car with the doors locked and the air conditioner running. It was 7:30 in the morning. I was the first one there that morning. I was up on the cemetery when someone came and said "the man at the gift shop needs you to move your car". No problem. I walked down to move my car. Not sure why it needed to be moved but I was willing to. So when I was unlocking the door the gift shop "owner" came out and started yelling at me. He was saying my car filled his shop with fumes. My car was about 30 feet away from his shop and I was there no more than 15 minutes. I couldn't have filled his shop if I put a straight pipe from the exhaust into his window with my gas pedal on the floor. This guy is really rude. I was going to patron his store but after that I wouldn't take anything in there if he gave it to me. Please don't go there. I've never been treated this way by a business owner and will do my best to tell everyone I can about his rude obnoxious behavior.
