Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on September 09, 2020We were looking for a place to store our trailer while visiting family. The manager let us park on a regular RV site but only charged us the tent, no hookups rate. She was very friendly and accommodating. We passed what appeared to be a nice pool. There was also a big playground. It looked like there were quite a few permanent campsites - perhaps used as weekend getaways. The campground is hilly and the roads were very rough. Many of the empty sites we saw were not very level, though ours was fine. Our site was on grass with plenty of privacy. Lots of trees. This campground is way out in the countryside of PA. We won't be back because it is so isolated, but it could be a quiet getaway destination. The address is Dalton, but the campground is out by Lake Winola.

Owner is very caring and helpful. Easy site parking, easy hookup and our site was quite level. Wide roads with no clearance issues. Nice quiet experience.

Interesting to say the least.... accommodating I will say, they do not give email confirmation of your reservation, so I showed up a day early for Labor Day weekend. Got there Thursday night, and no sites available. However, they did have 1 overflow spot they put me in with full hookup, so I was very thankful. Actually, a nice quiet campground. Other than some dogs barking, I have zero complaints, however, if our grandkids were with us I probably would be disappointed, the pool was green and did not seem well maintained, but other than that, no issues. Close by to Clark Summit/Scranton area, decent cell service for both Verizon and AT&T... I’d go back. Pretty nice looking play ground as well... oh, and if you don’t #2 in your camper, it’s quite a long walk to the rest room....
