“from trash to treasure”
Glass Beach is a beach in Eleele, an industrial area in Kauai, Hawaii that is made of sea glass. It is in Hanapepe Bay, near Port Allen Harbor. The beach's regular rock is basalt, but the sea glass formed after years of discarded glass.
Reviews
Fun quick stop. Pretty beach and neat to see the glass. A little dirt road driving but we did fine in a small suv. Thanks Roadtrippers for helping us find something we would have otherwise missed.
Near a very old dump site. The bottles have washed into the ocean and have been smoothed into pebbles over the years. A very unique and cool beach to visit. A little tricky to find as it is on the other side of the refinery tanks.
