I'm not sure where Jim saw alligators, but we never saw one at any spring in Florida! I wouldn't be surprised if you saw one in the actual river it connects to, but you would have to swim a fair distance away from the spring. This spring was absolutely stunning, and I loved how it had the platform for people to jump from! We got there around 9am and there were only a couple other people there, but by 12 the place was absolutely packed. It seemed like a great place for people to spend the whole day, because some were even grilling! I personally liked some of the more secluded springs like Ichentucknee State Park, but I can see the appeal for this one if you have a family for sure.

Absolutely stunning! This was the nicest campground we stayed at when we were driving to different springs this past year. The facilities were amazing as well. The only bummer was that there wasn't a place to sit in the common area to charge equipment or use the wifi. We ended up sitting on a little bench in the corner that was obviously meant for people waiting to check in, and found an outlet a couple feet away to get a little charge on our phones. I will also say that this campground was the most expensive one I've ever stayed at. We did a primitive campground with no hookups and it was $45 for one night! The campground was definitely the nicest one we stayed at, the sites were huge, but I'm just not sure is it's worth $45.

We went to several springs in Florida this past spring and this was our favorite! It's a long drive from civilization, so I feel like a lot of people don't know about it. When we went, we had the entire spring to ourselves! The water is a "warm 72 degrees year round" which means that it's going to take about ten minutes to adjust to the water
because it feels absolutely freezing. But it's totally worth it because it was the clearest water I've ever swam in! We stayed at the campground a mile down the road. They had wifi in the common area and it was pretty quiet. It was also the least expensive place we stayed, so I definitely recommend it if you have a tent or trailer!

A must visit if you're in the San Diego area! We went in late May and it was just incredible. The seals were all along the beach and the water was stunning. Don't expect to swim unless you're prepared to wear a wetsuit and freeze your tail off, the water is insanely cold. But the entire area is definitely worth checking out, this was one of my favorite spots in Cali!

This place was beautiful at one point, but when I went a couple years ago, there was no colorful glass left! So many people have taken the glass through the years that there isn't a whole lot remaining. The beach is nothing like the picture, it really breaks my heart. It's still lovely, but it's not what I'd hyped myself up for.
