A beautiful little park set alongside a babbling brook and at the foot of a stunning waterfall. Be prepared for an extremely steep but short hike to the top of the falls where the view will more than make up for your pounding heart and labored breathing. Swimming is no longer allowed here but they turn a blind eye if you wander out a bit into the rushing water. Families, barbecues and dog owners make for a lively atmosphere at the park's entrance but if you're looking for solitude the short hiking trail alongside and above the falls is blissfully calm and quiet. Worth a stop if you want to commune with nature without straying too far.
