Great little restaurant downtown Albany!
We arrived on a Friday at 2:30 pm and found the museum locked up tight. There were signs posted that the museum hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 - 4:30 pm. We couldn't find any reference to the museum on the Remington website. Our son was very disappointed.
Albany was the midpoint in our trip to Maine. We stayed here going to Maine and coming home. The staff was helpful and friendly. There is room for improvement by the cleaning staff. The rooms were not dirty but little things were missed like dusting the side tables and making sure there was enough toilet paper in the bathroom. Breakfast was typical hotel fare but at least it wasn't just a continental breakfast. Be aware that if you book through a third party (like Expedia) you may not get the type of room you booked. All the third party sites do is place a hold on a room, any room. At least that was what was explained to us. Fortunately the staff was able to work with us to make us happy and comfortable.
