Great campground with water at each site. Be sure to pack a LONG hose for some site. Cave tour for $3 a person in a boat! Pool and nature center. Also has a GREAT spring mill village with real people pretending it's 1800's. Even a mill that grinds corn on the hour!
Best part is the location and shuttle service to holiday world. Not sure it is worth a stay here again. Campground was dirty and loud. We brought our own RV and the camp site was nice and level. Water and sewer hookup was included.
Lincoln State Park is 5 mins down the road. If you commonly stay at state parks, I would recommend you stay there.
Great stop to learn about Lincoln! Can do the whole thing in 1-2 hours. Camping at Lincoln State Park is right across the road.
FYI:
If using the dump station be sure to choose the one to the right. You may still need to tilt your camper to get your tanks to empty.
Clean state park with lots to do! Pool, caves, hiking, and camping. Close to the first state capital so educational too!
Had a festival mid July that was fun to attend! Activities were Friday-Sunday.
Awesome visitors center and worth the fee. Fossils were everywhere! Great spots to picnic.
🚧Caution to those camping. We took a fifth wheel and had trouble finding room to park. I suggest taking just a car. River is fast so don't wade in it.🚧
Quick stop here for lunch at scotty's in the village. Ate outside so we could have our dog with us. Took pictures with the frog baby!
