It's a typical budget motel. Staff were friendly and breakfast was excellent offering more than a typical continental variety.

Even on a cloudy day, the vista was quite breathtaking. As others mentioned, the beauty of the place seems unreal. We were glad we stopped even for an hour on our drive from Seattle to the bay area.

Kitschy for sure but it was a nice break on a drive from the bay area to Eureka. Our Sienna minivan fit through and the stop served as a good introduction to the awe inspiring beauty of Redwoods we were going to witness for the next two days on the way up to Oregon. Definitely worth stopping for.
