The two stars are for a decent bed, hot water, and a fridge and microwave. Otherwise this is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in in over 20 years. The bathroom was dirty… hairs all on the counter… no soap or shower gel (in a pandemic!!)… mixed brand amenities like they stole them from other hotels… the lotion was open and crusted on top like someone else used it. Only one bath towel and one paper coffee cup in the room. The floor is bare laminate and hadn’t been swept or vacuumed.

There were safety and security issues… the room’s deadbolt did not work, the overhead light in the room’s entry was burned out… and the door at the south end of the building could not be opened from the INSIDE. Good luck if there is a fire!

Front desk was nice, but I was super annoyed after multiple visits to ask for what I needed when I shouldn’t have had to. Would never stay here again. Ick.

The front desk staff was wonderful on checkin. I really liked the new layout of the rooms in the new Residence Inns. Breakfast was good: a hot buffet where staff serve you because COVID. Theres a BevMo next door that’s more like a small grocery store where you can also get food, and sundries. Very handy. I appreciate their pet friendly policy but they charge a $100 fee per pet. So if you’re on a road trip with your pet like we are, and only stay one night at 5 different hotels, that’s $100 every single night for one dog. Can’t say I would visit again under these circumstances. I get that it’s a cleaning fee, but our room had toenails on the carpet when we arrived, and mold in the shower corners - so I’m pretty sure they’re not doing $100 worth of cleaning after we leave each morning. It’s just another way to nickel & dime their customers.
