The canals are everywhere just explore and you'll find more and more beautiful locations along them, book a canal cruise that's also quite a cool way to see the city!
If you are even remotely interested in world war 2 and the holocaust this is a amazing haunting and eye opening experience to what the Franks and for that matter anyone that went into hiding during the Nazi occupation of Holland experienced. How they lived how they survived and how they got caught. This is a must stop in Amsterdam if your touring. Do book in advance online however lines are crazy here.
The site is cool and gives a background
to high class society in the early 1900s the castle is reminescent of old stone buildings of northern europe. It was owned by a famous actor of the time and feels like a murder mystery house of sorts. It felt similar to stepping into the great gatsby and all the parties similar to the time. The area provides good but short hiking trails and the house is a mueseum that you can enter for about 6 dollars a person. Overall a good off the beaten path site well worth the visit if you are in the area.
Another great site in northern Ireland the bridge is a bit of a walk to get to and honestly a bit scarier than it looks. It's very sturdy but when your on it your subject to the winds and can be a bit nerve wracking, tons of fun, but nerve wracking. If you get a chance follow the trails down to the rocky beach for an awesome perspective.
Awesome albeit not very big it probably only stretches a quarter mile or so but really really cool to check out for a few minutes. The road is usally pretty quiet with the occasional bus tour once every few hours or so. The trees are getting old and are not going to be there forever. So see this site sooner rather than later.
Really neat site, can be somewhat crowded at times but not an unenjoyable experience, the trails surrounding the actual site are breathtaking and a must see if you ever get the chance to see them.
Very cool place, probably one of the cooler beach reservations in the area, lots of wildlife and trails to follow. Plus it's a purple sand beach. Best time to check out is early spring it's quiet and you can avoid the summer crowds. The park is open year round and costs about 5 bucks. Overall worth checking out especially if you are in the salbury Hampton area.
Probably the best view of London for the money.
Kind of expensive but very entertaining. It is one of those very very campy tourist sites but nonetheless very entertaining haunted house experience with a bit of history in it as well.
Very very crowded during the changing of the guard. If you can get there a half hour or more before it starts is your best bet and get as close to the palace gates as you can for the best view.
