So glad we came here! Only 4 stars because even though there is a parking fee, the 2 mile road down to the beach was narrow, crumbling, and dangerous. Luckily we navigated fine in our rented SUV. The purple sand was cool and we loved seeing the sun portal. No running water so it was difficult to clean up when we left. Out house style bathrooms available at the parking lot. My kids loved it as much as I did!
A beautiful fun beach that has it all! Really enjoy the atmosphere and the locals are pretty laid back & happy. Cafe has high prices so you might want to bring a picnic. Fun playground for kids, rinse Station, jogging track, and volleyball nets. Go stick your feet in the pacific and make some memories!
A lovely hotel with a hint of historic charm that has been beautifully maintained. The parking is free but they only have space for a few cars under the hotel itself! We were lucky to get one on a Sunday night. Very clean and comfortable, we asked for a back room and a fridge. Got both for a reasonable price. Hall noise was a bit much so put a towel by the door. Also, our air conditioning was program not to go below 68. Stinkers! Really enjoyed staying here, I would certainly come back.
A beautiful and modern Vineyard, loved our Groupon in the tasting room. The only complaint is that they were understaffed on a Saturday afternoon. They took it in stride and
did their best to serve us well. Everything tasted like heaven.
