The grounds were beautiful, however we were put in the stone house, not the main building. We had to take our luggage to the second floor, no elevator, we had to walk through back room to get to the staircase. The window sills were gross with dead bugs. We had breakfast included in our room and they didn’t tell us until the last day that the omelette and pancake station around the corner were included. My 16yr old daughter heard the couple in the room next to us having SEX, her first experience with that. The phone was not even plugged in as I called the front desk to ask a question and let them know that I would have appreciated a little more communication about how to get to the room and I requested the manager contact me and they never did. I would not stay here again because of this experience. Very sad....
Stopped in after sunset cruise for dessert Crepes... wonderful and the homemade ice cream was the best we have had! Service was great as well!
This was our first time to Maine and Acadia was beautiful! Have to be patient with all the people but worth the trip!
