Go down the cedar sink trail and keep right when the loop starts. About halfway down the trail there's a small trail to the right that leads to a sinkhole cliff. That's where most of the pictures were taken. If you hug the cliff, you can keep walking for 1/4 mile to more and more sinkhole cliffs. Eventually you'll pop out at a really big one. Hike uphill out of the sinkhole and you'll pop out at a small trail that will take you back to the main trail. Much cooler than the cave tours in my opinion.

Place is surreal. If you're on a trip through US-2, It's certainly worth a detour. There are usually huge fish (lake trout I believe) swimming around at the bottom of the spring. Unfortunately, fishing is prohibited.

Much bigger than the picture suggests. Worth a visit. If you've got time, Agate Falls is directly north on the same river on Highway 28. A trail from a roadside park leads to an overlook of the falls.

Beautiful mild-energy hike. Do not stop walking when you get to a wooden fence. The trail keeps going along the canyon. Down this trail there's also an area where cliff jumping is popular, so don't get too worked up if you see a college kid hop over a ledge. However, you definitely should NOT try cliff jumping unless you're with someone who knows the river. The jump here is over 35' with variable current and a specific jump zone.

There are actually more than 2 falls. Just follow the creek. This is one of the more well-known waterfalls in the Keweenaw. If you're visiting the area on vacation, I highly recommend stopping here. Disclaimer: it's in a remote place down a back road. If at first you can't find it, try again.

Great area to watch sunsets and, when they're out, the northern lights.

I often ride my bike through here. Right on the water with a good view of the lift bridge.

Incredible selection of rocks and minerals. Even if you're not into geology, this place is intriguing. The fluorescent mineral display in the dark room is pretty neat too. Also, It's free to Michigan Tech students. So if that's you, you're in luck!
