Highly recommend visiting! Incredible land formations and views! Peak was at capacity when we arrived so either purchase tickets ahead of time or be prepared for a little wait. If you are waiting there are secluded picnic tables just up from the entry parking lot. Do the hike if you can! It's steep and we encountered a miserably buggy stretch, but still worth it.

What we expected. Service was okay. Room was comfortable.

We had to correct the front desk staff twice about the type of room we had reserved. Thankfully, they handled the situation professionally and we ended up in a room with a view. Only stayed a night, and people warned us to avoid the hotel restaurant.

Bit of a wait for the food, but tasty!

First, park downtown to walk through the visitor's center. We learned a lot and saw some unusual things! Then, walk or drive a little farther to explore the "nature" part of the park. Make time for a spa treatment! We ended up loving it, but the area was congested/touristy, and navigating the area and the best way to explore the hot spring and park was confusing.
