It's definitely a cool photo opportunity, and in a very low key area!
It was absolutely amazing! It was a beautiful and short walk, all on bridged paths which are easily accessible until the point were you descend into devils ice box. There are wet rocks so make sure you wear shoes that have reasonable grip. I would also suggest a better light than just your phone, there is so much to experience and a phone won't cut it.
Needless to say tons of fun and worth the stop.
What a blast! Keep in mind it's a notable detour, but well worth it. While running around we had the entire area to ourselves. There are restrooms, and plenty of photo opportunities.
It's a pretty cool stop. It's is a clean and well maintained area so We chose to have a quick lunch while taking some pictures. Don't forget to sign the book!
Worlds largest?? Maybe, doubtful but maybe. Road trip cliche?? Definitely. But worth it for sure!
