If you are into history this is a nice place to stop. It is right on the highway.
If you are not in the area do not go out of your way to see this Fort. The visitor center staff do not come out of their glassed in back room to be where you can talk with them. The fort is fenced off so you can not get inside the fort. Also the wood steps are very rotted but these are not fenced off.
It does have interesting history.
Nice place to visit. It is within a few miles of Lincoln's museum which was a great place to see.
Great place to visit. The is on private property but the owners have provided a circular parking area so you can get out and walk around. Worth the visit.
This is a nice place to visit. The parking is on the side of the road and we walked back to it on what appears to be the side of someones very large yard.
We went during the 4th of July week and they were very busy. Our group had 26 people which spread us out making it at times difficult to hear the tour guide. The cave is beautiful and the Guide we had was great. Our tour lasted over an hour but this was due to traffic jams in the cave.
This is a very interesting battlefield. It was a one sided battle even though the Mexican army outnumbered the US army.
The over sized wagon is in a beautiful park that includes the waterfalls. Everything is a short walk to see.
The falls is in a park and surrounded by others thing to see to include the big red wagon. Very beautiful to see and walk around.
This a great place to visit with more than a dam to see. There are several things to see with displays about the history and they are all short walks.
