I loved this campsite. We stayed here for 2 nights in june 2015. the people who work there are so nice and made you feel like you were wanted. Our tent flooded our first night so it was really fortunate for us that they have full laundry and a shower. We didn't use the pool or the mini golf but we took full opportunity of the café they had there.

so ridiculously beautiful. we stayed here for one night in june 2015. Didn't see to many bison there (which we hoping wouldn't happen) but the guy who has camping next to us said that two times when he woke up that morning and looked outside his tent we say wildlife (once a long horn ram and the other time bison) directly behind our tent. The best part of the site though was the trail that was behind our site. we followed this to the top of a hill and got the most beautiful view ive ever seen. Plan on staying here again next year

I have been here twice. I visited a few years ago when my dad heard the weird al' song. I thought it was pretty lame to be honest but it was still a nice roadtrip. As a jokeme and some of my friends decided to go on a road trip there and I found it much more fun. My advice is to have an open mind about it and treat it as it is. It is just a large ball of twine joke around about it. I'm planning on returning with my friends and rromate this summer to get a chance to actually go into the gazebo to see the twine ball. The gazebo does make pictures difficult to take. If you end up going there and the gift shop is closed stop by The Blue Moose bar and they sell them there. they were fairly cheep I bought a shot glass and a miniature ball of twine for $8.

Althoughy Navy Pier is a very "touristy" place to go in Chicago I do think it something that you have to do. That being said it was my favorite part of my trip to Chicago. I absolutely loved it. I had so much fun just walking and people watching. I didn't spend much time in the park but the time I did spend up there was so much fun. I only went up there so that I could go on the Ferris Wheel (another thing everyone should do) the view from even half way up made me completely fall in love with the city. Definetly take a day out of your trip to walk the pier

I went here when I was 13 and loved it. Although I have to say my 4 younger boy cousins definitely loved it more. It was a blast seeing all of the reenactments and even just walking around is fun. Even more though is watching movies and being able to say "Hey I was there!"
