Attended a nice wedding at the resort. Good spa specials. For casual, local or family skiers.
Fun and interesting. The tour explores the process of global commerce from scouting new products to shipping the final product. Emphasis on walking tour. Steps involved. Ages 10 and up.
Lots to do, lots of space, excellent history interpretation and trails. Set aside 2.5 hours for first time visitor doing the American history aspects and bring a picnic lunch. Check out the community activity days. You can lookup at the museum if your ancestor was at Valley Forge. Living history at Geo Wash house some days. Dont forget to drive or bike the full trail to see all the architecture. Bring a frisbee!
Good campground for beginners. Nice hiking, birding, boating, biking and fishing opportunities. That said, avoid the pool at all costs. Overcrowded, filthy, and attracts an unruly crowd. Boating can get rowdy over the summer. Still, it is a very enjoyable park during the off-peak season.
Nothing to do here other than grab a snack at the bakery or fine dining reservations at the B&B. This could be a really cute village with the right shops. Until then, don't waste your time.
Great scenic and clean state park for family picnicking and watersports, with rental shop for boating, fishing and paddleboarding. ADA accessible fishing dock. Horse lessons there with reservations required, see park website for maps and info. Remember to keep dogs on leash and PA fishing license current. No swimming in lake. Wading welcomed.
