We took the 4:15 ferry and arrived for sunset. The view and photos are absolutely stunning.
It's cool - in a little caged enclosure with parking off the road. As usual, this pin is not in the right place. Look for it on the north side of the road right at the corner of Delaware and Maryland.
Placement on this map is inaccurate - it is much further down the road, but very worth the extra drive. It's REALLY beautiful. Park near the very end of the parking area and take the paved path to the bottom of the lowest falls. It's 1.7 miles to the top; we only stopped at the bottom, near the first switchback, and up one more flight of stairs. It's beautiful.
I'm giving this a purely neutral review, as we never actually found it. Placement on this map is NOT accurate - I think it's much further north on the parkway. Look for the mile markers.
The star is easy to get to - we drove, but there were bikers and hikers there as well. The views were fantastic.
