This is a great show ... much better than I expected from this little town and the simple looking exterior of the building.
My 11 year old and I were enthralled and mystified by the tricks. They are much more mind boggling than when seen on tv.
Kids are free and $20 for adults.
Add an extra 2 hours to your agenda and take this drive. There are so many beautiful views. Plan for lunch at Hells Backbone Grill.
Excellent gourmet burgers. We were on a long trek on scenic highway 12 ... lots of beautiful but barren scenery when we came upon this oasis. Draft beer and gourmet burgers. I jad the melted blue cheese and bbq. yum.
Call first. It was closed due to fire damage and flash flood danger.
I was initially sceptical as I couldnt find many pictures of this place. The water park looked small and did prove to be very small - more suited for younger kids than teens. Jacuzzi area was really nice and big. Kids allowed in Jacuzzi which I love.
Our deluxe room was nice and big for $150. The hotel is old and rundown in many areas but the lobby and cafe are nice.
Its worth the money but manage your expectations.
Its a good stop to break up the long drive to Grand Canyon. The caves are all pretty small. They dont give you hardhats and one guy knocked his head pretty good.
