As a former brewer and Brewery owner, I visit breweries every chance I can. We had a flight of 6 and 5 were good to very good. One had too much astringency for me. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. For the beer side - 4.5 stars.
The food side - not so much. The person taking our order was clearly not interested in being there. He started the conversation with " we are out of lots of things because its Sunday" - then just stopped. After the guessing game ended we order the deviled eggs and the fish and chips. The deviled eggs were good but the fish fry was way overcooked to the point of the batter being almost black. For the food side - 2 stars.
Good beer - nice people
My wife and I had a great time - exhibits, movies, a tour, tons of mementos. This is the third NASA museum we have visited and found it very interesting. You can go on the plane that carried the space shuttle from California to Florida and even visit the shuttle riding above. I would allow 4 hours minimum to see it all and get there early!
It's small but interesting. We even had a personal guide take us through the museum. Some great ship models going way back to modern tankers and oil platforms. Figure an hour or two to see it all.
We took the self guided tour. Our tour guide was amazing :) great brewery, great beer; and super friendly staff.
Worth the trip - and don't skip the marina down the road... there is some really cool sculptures at the marina. BTW you will know you are are the right path when you see dinosaurs by the side of the road!
The best trout we ever ate - and we caught it ourselves! The staff was very friendly, the fish were biting and the dinners were amazing. The lemon pepper and the blackened was delicious as well as all the sides were home made.
What a great day! Our guide taught us the basics of fly fishing and took us wading in a stream. We caught some great fish and had a day to remember! We completely recommend them.
Nice Park with new electric and cable. Owners are very nice and friendly.
This is a great stop! See the film, look around the museum, then hike the boardwalk trail. A very easy walk in the woods.
