Take you kids here. They will love to explore this park. It’s a outdoor playground set in the center of town. You climb, crawl, scamper, scramble, slide, and all the other things. Feel like a kid climbing rocks and looking over ledges. Just keep an eye on the kids. You’re pretty high up there. 😉

What a beautiful state park. I recommend exploring. There is a $15 fee for out of state vehicles and you may be required to self pay, so bring cash. But drive through and stop at all the stops. It is absolutely stunning!!!

Do this hike. Reservations required. I recommend getting them early, read all the reviews. Water gear and poles are a plus. And snow gear may be necessary. But worth every penny of the $11 charge. Best stop on my 5,000 mile trip.

Such a beautiful, cool detour. You are on a gravel road for a while and you may think you’re not supposed to be there, but keep going. Watch out for the cows though, they come right up to your car if you let them. Don’t follow the navigation here, if you put Monument Rock into your maps, it will guide you the same way the roads signs recommend. Worth the detour for sure.
