A lovely moment…where time stands still.
Plan for a long walk 1.4 miles each way (bike ride seemed better) but it’s a sweet spot to remember how lovely and tender human hearts are.
The most beautiful four hours of my life.
I almost didn’t go because we weren’t lucky enough to get the Road to the sun tickets when they released them but got a helpful tip that it opens at 4 pm regardless of reservations. Thank goodness we stayed to drive it.
Awe and wonder didn’t come close. I was in tears of joy multiple times!
If you have kids - Totally worth the stop! They were thrilled! Thanks to this app I knew about this place!
My kids loved having a slide option, big win after a long day in the car
This place was cozy and my kids had fun. I especially appreciated the super extended breakfast hours in their wildlife museum like lobby so the early risers and late sleepers could all eat when they woke!
This was a great little walk to see some wonderful spots. Right along the lake so that was a bonus.
She’s still got it!
8 min before predicted. Loved seeing this and you could see the one next to it first so it was a 2 for 1 deal!
My hubby was super happy with this hotel. Kind staff that gave us pointers for the park and great breakfast options.
Perfect if you forgot that car reservation for the park.…the afternoon scenic float ended at 4 so you could then drive the park and road to the sun without having the advanced tickets.
We loved the scenic float with our kids. Very chill way to enjoy a few hours and perfect if someone is afraid of whitewater rafting. Guides were so kind and this was a mom win! Gets you out of the car and into the natural beauty. A mom win.
