Free dump by Gander RV. It’s a two person job with the way the dump hole is high so a foot is needed on to to keep it in place. Free, fast, convenient to 81
Cafe has great Pizza and it was a wonderful stay. Level spots and a short walk for a great view of the glacier. Stopped her three times and each night was the same. Traffic dies off at 9PM and starts up at 9AM but not a loud as you would think.

As stated by everyone above, this is a great stop. Newish showers, perfect power (coming off the COE dam 1/4 mile away), level sites with a well laid out plan. Small play area for kids and a cool loop area in the back with a community covered picnic area. It would be great for a group of campers that are all good friends.
Well maintained with a warm greeting (he recommended a better site for me when I checked in). We will be back.

Somewhat disappointing! Almost no trails, paths, or things to do. Water is almost impossible to get to and the place is crawling with bugs. This is a wild place. If you have kids or a spouse that is going to complain about bugs, this is a place to pass on. An amazing assortment of things that can bite but that gets old really fast when the Deep Woods Off acts an attractant. Had it not been for coming upon the three massive American Crocodiles (yes Crocs, not Gators) in the fresh water side of the marina and the playful Manatees that inhabit the bay side, this would have been a bust for wildlife. I expected more birds. The Crocodiles were 12 foot plus and one was beached on the boat ramp with its mouth wide open. My wife thought it was artificial when she first saw it. Found the Midway or Big Cypress Midway Campground to be as welcoming less of a trip into nowhere. The trip along the Tamiami Trail to be well worth the side trip. The massive number of Alligators along the way will amaze you (Monument Lake, Midway, the park off the North side of 41). Monsters from another age.
Lovely, lovely little park. So well maintained it is difficult to believe. We were pressed for time to head to Nevada or would have stayed several days. Washers and dryer area is spotless but wow the shower room, amazingly well kept. Nice pool and a quiet (yes you can hear an occasional 18 wheeler engine breaking a mile away) little oasis among the Ponderosa pines. Easy to find, even if the google maps is screwed up, since they have signs that bring you all the way to the park.
We will be back. Recommend the owner bonus the couple running the place big time since I’ve never seen a park thing well kept.
Out of COVID madness rises the best little Ghost Town in ALASKA. Pay it a visit. Bears up the road July- Sep as they feed on the spawning salmon. Park is alive and well but needs our business. Bear River CG in Stewart was great but we were happy here as well. Not that big a hassle to cross here. Did it three times and the border staff was great to deal with. After all you are returning to Canada from a ghost town isolated on a speck of the US. There is no US customs.
Level spaces, well most and clear water in the lines. A few hidden full hookups but you have to ask. Enjoy. Drive 20mph, the local 40 left in the population expects it.
Good distances for a run to Tok or Anchorage. Road noise was not what you’d expect since it dies off early (distance to nowhere). See my other post. Forgot to add the stars.
Full hookups, good water source, but side by side. Not the view expected (without a hike), but the stay was still wonderful since we could jump on the bikes and get all the view you can stand just down the road. Moose and bear country - saw both. Nice people running it with good staff and a decent cook. Ate left over pizza for lunch for three days. We will stop again. Military discount offered. Road noise stops dead at about 9:00PM.
You get what you pay for. $25 Canadian with no facilities other than power and water (questionable). No dump, no shower, pit toilets. Power however was good (except that number 9 spot plug is installed upside down making it almost impossible to keep a good plug in without wrapping something around the socket.
Place was almost full but never saw anyone that worked there. You put money in a lock box behind the closed restaurant. Go figure. No envelope provided.
Far enough off the highway to be quiet. Traffic dies at night anyway.
Bug city but not as bad as Laird Hot Springs. Run down dock area goes with the almost closed nature of the place. Adequate by Yukon standards.
Good RV facilities but a little pricey. Lodge is a great spot in one of the most beautiful locations you will ever find. Enjoyed three great days here waiting for the Alaska Highway to reopen.
