I’m not sure what this waypoint is supposed to be for. There was a wash back a mile and a canyon 5 miles East. But nothing at the place indicated.
This was a great short stop on our road trip. The museum is a room in the first floor of a hotel, so the bathrooms and such are clean and comfortable. It’s free and open 24/7 (I think. I went during the day.)
The museum is just one room with a bunch of old bibles and related paraphernalia to look at. You can touch and read some reproductions.
The curator there came out and regaled us with some interesting bible facts, then got off on some weird theory about Joseph of Aramethea and Britain. So depending on how you feel about historical conspiracy theories, that could be a plus or a minus. I enjoyed it.
