Longwood Gardens is consistently an excellent place to visit. The first time I went was for the orchid show in the spring, amazing! We visited again on Christmas Even when my son was a baby, while it was BEAUTIFUL, it was way too crowded and I wouldn't recommend taking kids when its that busy. There is a great kids area though, definitely take you r kids, just not on Christmas eve, haha. I have been there over 4 times and still didn't see everything.

We like this park! I haven't camped here but visited a few times. The light house isn't very big but the view of the bay is cool. There are paths that go from the light house down to the water but they can be a little hard to find. I did the walk when my son was an infant and it wasn't too much. The paths are not stroller friendly though, hah.

This park was one of the highlights of our cross country trip. It was already pretty hot at the beginning of June but definitely worth it. My son and I were only able to stop there for a few hours. It was surreal, the different landscapes/colors in such a short drive, like nothing I have seen before. Wish we had been able to spend more time!
