This was a great experience. We were able to do the whole thing in an afternoon without rushing. We did the 1:30 riverboat, 3:00 tram to the top and 4:00 movie. We parked easily on the levee. We ordered all the tickets online way ahead.

Doesn’t open until 11 AM despite what it says on their web site.

Midday the parking lots are full. Go early or late in the day.

We found this hotel to be the best of all the places we stayed on our cross country trip. The staff was pleasant and the room immaculate. There as a free cocktail hour with hor d'oeuvres sufficient for dinner.
