We drove here only to find it is permanently closed.
This place is a destination. We were fortunate a friend told us take the 15 minutes out of our way and go here. The food is great. Attached to it is a beautiful garden and a winery. I wish we had a whole afternoon to spend here, looks like they were setting up for music.
This place is certainly world class. It's enormous and so informative. We were fortunate to be there for a live re-enactment. A must-see.
Oh my goodness. I was told to go to this restaurant, and am sooo glad I took the advice. Great service, wonderful food, intimate rooms, great location. Wonderful.
I recommend this place if you really just want a clean place. We knew that's all we wanted and looked for that with best price. It's no frills and was clean with comfortable bed. Good size room. I would request to stay toward the back on second floor though. We were toward the front and could hear people walking around above us the first night and hear people driving in and talking outside. The second night was quiet.
I loved this place. We got there a little before they started seating and they immediately invited us to a free wine tasting which we did. Bartender recommended very good wines for each, and I will look for one that I loved. Met a fun couple doing the same and ended up eating dinner with them. All dinners were very good, service was great, very pretty place. Definitely will go back.
Awesome. We didn't get cold with all the walking, long sleeve shirts were fine. Good shoes necessary, especially for walking steep downward slopes. We brought water which is all you can have touring the cave and glad we had it. So impressive, photos do not do justice. We didn't get to do guided tours, which we wanted to do, because they were already filled for the day, so schedule those in advance. We went on Thursday and got there at 8am to go on self tour at 8:30 am, which was perfect. No waiting, no crowd, no issues with parking.
