Charming and unique. Be ready to bend and turn through the 30 minute tour. The nature preserve was moderately interesting if you're into local non-venomous snakes. The fossil collection is more personal than local. The panning and fossil digging experience were fun for my toddler daughter. All the supplies are planted but worth it. The staff were kind and the girl doing the tour did well despite being 13. Mia the prairie dog is quite charming and chances are good that you'll run into a salamander or a skunk. Support Van Buren's local economy and pay the $25 for the experience.

Incredibly beautiful. The ecology of the area is a site to behold. Blue tailed skinks and a snake resting on the water's edge are possibilities. Beware of black gnats; they're everywhere.

Quiet and clean. This was a great place to park the RV and rest for the night. The staff was friends and courteous. If you're looking for a KOA type campground, this is not the place. If you're looking for the bare minimums and room to watch your kid chase fireflies at night then Camelot might be for you.

Great little playground in a quiet part of town. Park is clean and has toys that are enjoyable for various ages. There is a covered picnic area, a large field, basketball court and restrooms that are decently maintained.
