It was a beautiful place to visit.
What can I say, its one of those places you just have to go enjoy! Parking was never very hard to find and the kids always had a good time at the arcade or on the boardwalk. It is one of those places you have to see if you are going through and the drive over from San Jose is so pretty.
I love this place. It is a blast for sci-fi, horror, and music lovers! Getting to take a pic with a dalek sums it up. Also I got four free decks of magic cards while there for PAX. I sang and played with instruments and over all was very pleased with the time I spent there!
I thought this tour was really fun! I love history and I found this to be a very part of Seattle's history. It was a bit more fun than the Shanghai Tunnel tour in Portland. I would LOVE to do it again!
You have probably seen it a million times in movies and TV shows. It was really cool to get to go up and look out, it was not cool to find out I get really horrible motion sickness up there swaying around in the sky. I might of had to crawl back to the elevator but it was totally worth it!
Visited this site a few times when I lived here. It was a pretty cool place with a good tour and I enjoyed the houses down there, very beautiful. Plus I saw a bunch of men playing bagpipes once and you can't out cool that!
I remember the first time I saw it, I was really pretty impressed with the sheer size of the sculpture! It is a very impressive sight and a great photo op!
I visited on a mildly windy day, it was a tremendous sight to see. The cherry blossoms were gently floating through the breeze and it really set a gorgeous scene for a walk.
I took the tour. Of course there wasn't a lot of tunnel left to see because a majority had been sealed up over the years but the stories and historical information was fun and it was well presented and a good way to spend a little time with strangers in the dark under the city! I had a great experience and while you have to take some of it with a grain of salt it was certainly something I would take another visiting friend to see.
This where I will go when I die. And lets just stop to think about the fact that you need a map to navigate this place. It has stories of books on every subject imaginable. It is a playground for those who love literature. It feels like an amusement park for the literary world! It smells like knowledge and old books and coffee. It has good coffee (of course) and very awesome staff. Free parking in the parking garage and this is very good because you can lose an entire day to this place without even trying! There is usually some art to enjoy while your there as well as awesome recommended readings on every shelf. I LOVE YOU POWELL"S!!! <3
