Visited this site a few times when I lived here. It was a pretty cool place with a good tour and I enjoyed the houses down there, very beautiful. Plus I saw a bunch of men playing bagpipes once and you can't out cool that!
I remember the first time I saw it, I was really pretty impressed with the sheer size of the sculpture! It is a very impressive sight and a great photo op!
I visited on a mildly windy day, it was a tremendous sight to see. The cherry blossoms were gently floating through the breeze and it really set a gorgeous scene for a walk.
I took the tour. Of course there wasn't a lot of tunnel left to see because a majority had been sealed up over the years but the stories and historical information was fun and it was well presented and a good way to spend a little time with strangers in the dark under the city! I had a great experience and while you have to take some of it with a grain of salt it was certainly something I would take another visiting friend to see.
Nice place to catch all sorts of goings on and people watch!
What can I say, this is so iconic, how can you NOT take a picture here?
This place was absolutely gorgeous when I went to it, but at that specific time they were making repairs to the sewer system and it smelled absolutely horrible!!
Beautiful garden. A very nice place to stop and have a traditional tea as well!
I absolutely loved this place. It was extremely fun and free, we just paid a donation to go on a ride and it was a pretty long ride with cute little miniatures and funny things along the way. I would go again and I went without a child! :)
Kids love this and it is a fun little educational walk for all ages. It is really interesting.
