An inspiring museum with twice daily tours. It can get kind of busy on the weekends, so if you can, visit on the weekday.

It's not the biggest zoo ever, but it's really nice. Lots of classic zoo animals like lions and elephants..and you can even meet the elephants in person!

Absolutely amazing BBQ - IF you're into Carolina style. There's a reason this place has been featured in so many magazines, television shows, and newspapers: it's melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

Got a vegan significant other like me? You're in luck! You can enjoy the BBQ, but they can still chow down and enjoy themselves. Lots of tofu options.

Don't worry, every single aspect of this place is better than the terrible name implies. If you're looking to indulge without feeling guilty, the Yogurt Pump (shudder), is a good place to do that.

Try the mocha java!

Absolutely delicious, but definitely pretty pricy. Be prepared to pony up for the service.

This retro-chic diner is one of the coolest places to grab a bite to eat in Raleigh. This place has been lovingly restored from it's original building, so it looks much the same as it did in 1945.

The food is your general diner fair, but GREAT.

As if you needed any more convincing, cursing is embraced her. Awesome.

If you love Thai food, this is your place to chow down in Morrisville. It's cheap, the portions are huge, and the servers are super friendly. Beware, it can get pretty busy on weekend evenings.

Delicious place, great atmosphere, and reasonably priced. As stated by another review, you absolutely have to try the Mile High Cheesecake while you're there.

GUYS, IT'S A LEMUR HABITAT. What else do I need to say?

In any case, this place is great. They're even the largest lemur sanctuary in the world, holding nearly 250 different species of Lemur, most of which you'll have a chance to see. Highly recommended!

Very neat to see, but don't plan a trip around it, or go out of your way too far to see it.
