An inspiring museum with twice daily tours. It can get kind of busy on the weekends, so if you can, visit on the weekday.
Very neat to see, but don't plan a trip around it, or go out of your way too far to see it.
The alleged home of a mysterious secret society, the Gimghoul castle is a neat place to see in person, though don't expect to get in - it's for members only.
Hilarious photo op if you're in the area, but nothing to go out of your way to see. Unless, of course, you're headed to the Angus Barn, which is where this fun little machine is located. The food is on the pricy side, but damn worth it.
One of the neatest locations from American urban legends... and one that holds up. If you visit, be sure to bring a regular old compass with you so you can watch it spin wildly in the center of the Tramping Grounds. Some people complain about being sick in the middle, just something to be aware of.
Very cool museum filled with stuff exclusively from the local area. Definitely call ahead for hours, as they can fluctuate.
A great nature preserve doing great things for the area, but the best way to visit is to call and schedule a horse drawn carriage ride through the property. It's cheap, supports the project, and it's fun!
Beautiful old building with a great courtyard for a stroll. Be sure to pop inside and look at the absolutely stunning interior.
Fantastic little B&B that's actually listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Complimentary wine and cheese every night, locally roasted coffee in the mornings, and really cozy rooms.
This B&B is nice, but it feels more like a hotel than a "down home" inn. If you aren't quite ready to make the leap from corporate to country, this might be good middle ground.
