It's cool. You have to Yale take a nearby access road to get to the place the picture for this was taken from.
This is not in the San Fran area. It's a crazy, winding mountain road that takes an hour each way with this amazing beach at the end. You have to see it if you're passing through. When's the next time you'll get a chance?
Pretty nice scenery. Has a precarious set of stairs down to the beach with a nice view.
Beautiful! Do not miss your chance to stop!
Not much to see but it's still interesting enough to stop. There's a large wooden deck you can walk on above the plants. None are close enough to really appreciate unless you have a camera and a long lens like I had. There was also a noticeable lack of insects, making the chance of watching them feed remote.
Very friendly. Was dead when I arrived. Had a vegetarian dish called The Artist that was incredible with the freshest side salad I've ever tasted.
I couldn't find it.
There were no seals here, which is fine. I don't expect them to hang out all year round. My issue is that the surf is so violent I don't understand how one is able to even swim here.
Has some pretty cool views from the parking lot. The path to the lighthouse was closed that day so I don't know if it's a decent experience. The wind was extremely strong. Watch your footing. The five mile drive from the highway was nice.
