Stopped by Larry's for lunch on the way home and we were not disappointed. The Bacon Cheese Burger and the Larry Burger was delicious.
I did this hike in march and it was amazing. This was my one of my favorite parts of the hike! So much fun!
This hike was so much fun! My husband and I did it this March and the weather was perfect. I would highly recommend doing this hike in the morning since it does get quite warm in the afternoon. Also bring plenty of water. There is a nice spot to stop and use the outhouse before the chain part. If you have kids you can go up wallys wiggles and to this point but I wouldn't bring them all the way up. It was pretty scary at some parts. Overall it was a blast!
The pantry is really good. It is home cooking cafeteria style. Their rolls are the best. I've always been impressed with their large group catering or party rooms upstairs. It is a semi pricy but classy place with lots of history.
When it gets cold enough they flood the baseball field and rent out ice skates!
Remember to dress warm!
