Very nice, clean, and fresh hotel. Indoor pool nice, but hot tub out of order a bummer. Full day restaurant with good food and great service. Perfect for us.

Just spent a night there. Positives: three bed room plus couch available which was wonderful with all the kids, free waffle/cereal breakfast, non smoking and clean; negatives: pool 'out of order', no hot water in our shower, bring a fly swatter

Great stop not far off I10. Kids meals $8. Adults $14+. No view of the coast from inside but right next to the casino. (Pretty heavy smoke smell). Great food.

Enjoyed a ribeye wife had a sirloin. Kids got chicken fingers and corny dogs. Had a group of over 30 with plenty of room. This is a big steakhouse.

Big museum facility. Two tram tours that overlap a little (good if you want to see the moon rocket twice). Big theater for historic footage screening. Nice gift shop for your geek tshirts and more. We took little kids and grandparents - fun for all. A must visit for anybody in the area.

We visited on a historic reenactment day which made this a better day otherwise the park is probably a little boring. Small fort without a wall/fence?! The barracks building creeped out my 4yo girl for some reason. The original officers quarters and old hospital facility was neat to see. We did it as a day trip. There is a small museum to browse through with a little history of the area and fort period. Read a little Texas history before you go.

Took a day trip here. Great easy hike around the lake (2.1mi) and on the CCC trail near the entrance. Kids enjoyed finding lots of pine cones. The campgrounds looked great with 1st class views and shade. We will probably come back to camp and rent a canoe or paddle boat. I might even sneak away to hit the single track mountain bike trails that some fellas said were great challenges.

Apple, North Face, LEGO, etc. Distracting enough for most gentlemen.

The original Dallas HRC was more 'authentic' in an old church. After closing for some time they opened this location with the new Hard Rock trends and same great food.
