A particularly nice rest stop with bathrooms and community dry landscape beautiful garden to wander through.
Large servings of amazing breakfast! Yes you want to add a biscuit and gravy. Of course you need an omelet with avocado. Oh so good.
A special peaceful visit is here for all who seek peace and answers. At Christmas beautiful lights, nativities, and sculptures add to the wandering experience.
So this was no longer just a natural beautiful oasis. It was somewhat cemented seeming little lakes. Hate to be a downer... but it was more beautiful viewed from the hole in the rock which shares the location.
Truly easy walk to a gorgeous view of Phoenix. Go at sunset walk up the easy back.
Unexpected easy stop right in the middle of Phoenix. Beautiful water station with several falls. It’s free and worth a 15 minute detour if you’re in town. The sound is still with me...
Worth the stop if you’ve never seen an old west town. Still, even on a Saturday the buildings are entirely locked and you peer through windows or doors that are opened but roped so you don’t enter. There was a fun hay maze and sand tubs for kids to ”pan” for gold. No guides, tour, experts, interactive period people. Just building outsides with signs- which were neat old buildings but not living history.
So it was cool but I don’t think I’d pay $7 to go in again. Adults are now $7. Pay the $1 for the fish food. Not quite perfect but it was beautiful. Peaceful hour with beautiful lakes and a small waterfall. Sculptures were very different and lovely. Just an hour is enough to see the whole thing.
So you can drive by and see this large beautiful sculpture. It is on the side of a busy, unremarkable intersection. Cool if your in the area getting hotdogs from short leash.
This is a small garden path around the library parking lot. Cool to look at if your going by now worth going out of the way. Free so no loss and some cool plants to see.
