Easy to find and a beautiful site overlooking the city. Nice and quiet. We arrived late and left early so can’t comment on the showers, etc.
Tons of fun! We took a couple nights out of the RV and stayed in the hotel. The hotel theme was spot on and I enjoyed my morning coffee on the front stoop: great bird and people watching. It is busier than expected with 1.5 hour waits at the 2 restaurants in town. Be prepared to eat early. I was also hoping to star gaze but alas couldn’t wait up until the town closed down, which wasn’t at all late at about 10;30-11:00.

Staff was great, the facilities are beautiful. For whatever reason the highway traffic kept me up most of the night, as well as the occasional train. Here I am at 4:00am with only a couple hours of sleep and a long day of driving ahead 🤦♀️
An incredible sight to behold! It’s an easy, but hot walk in and out- so bring water. There is now a fenced off area as well as unguarded, the choice is yours!

Excellent views, nice large and level, gravel sight. Owners were very accommodating and helped me set up our horseback ride for the next morning!
We opted to take the portion of San Juan Skyway through Telluride instead. When you read about this portion of highway it is also called the Highway to Hell and is deemed the 3rd most dangerous road in the world due to steep grades, no shoulder and snowy conditions.

Great place for an overnight stay. They were very helpful with check in and laundry. Showers were clean! Next to the highway, but we slept great despite the noise- maybe more like white noise ;-).
We had a great experience and beautiful hike. The park rangers were helpful and the trails were easy to follow. We think coming at night to stargaze could be pretty spectacular!
A great, quiet place for an overnight stay. We were the only ones in the park this night. It was an easy walk to Casey’s quick stop and dollar general. We called for the code for the showers and got a response shortly thereafter. COVID related: we noticed most people NOT wearing masks in the two stores, just keep it in mind.
