We did not take the tour but drove around the base perimeter streets instead. We saw hundreds of airplanes. Don't for get your binoculars! It is unbelievable the amount of planes our country possesses.

This place is only open on select days of the week! We did not pay attention to the operating days/times and drove out to find a locked gate. Bummer! Don't make the same mistake!

Spectacular view of Glens Canyon and the Colorado river! This stop begins with a 3/4 mile hike over red sandy / rocky hills with some grade. The view is breath taking or is it the 1000 ft vertical drop as you stand on the edge? There are no safety railings and but the view is one we won't forget!

This was a great stop and we enjoyed the fun of placing your hands and feet in different states at the same time. The entry fee on this stop is $5.00 per vehicle and provides great photo opportunities. The restrooms are okay (vault toilets) but new facilities are under construction. You will also find Navajo vendors selling custom made jewelry, crafts and art work. Glad we stopped!

While you can see this feature from miles away, the detail from up close was amazing. The terrain around this geological formation is largely flat, yet Ship Rock protrudes from the ground and towers above the landscape. We were unable to drive up to the formation but were able to get within 1/4 mile from it. Be careful not to drive through open gates near the formation as these are private property.

The bridge is spectacular and an engineering wonder. We were able to park along side the road and walk out onto the bridge. Traffic on the bridge was slow enabling us to focus on the view, not the traffic. The bridge is over 500 ft. above the river offering a fabulous view of the geological rock formations.
