I've heard it's a bit rundown but a super unique place to spend the night in an absolutely beautiful setting. Apparently the West Cottage is the way to go!

Apparently makes for some pretty stellar climbing and some even more epic snowshoeing! If you're new to snowshoeing, probably wise not to stray too far from well-traversed areas. Snow gets softer the further you away you move and makes it more strenuous.

Apparently winter is the best time to visit the falls if you want to skip the crowds and long, long lines. I've also heard though that Maid of the Mist is a ride you must not miss, so if you don't mind the lines then go in the summer when the rides are open.

This is the largest national park outside of Alaska and apparently loaded with amazing things to do and see - massive sand dunes, dramatic deserts crackling under the hot sun, Joshua trees baking in the heat. Hear you need a pretty rugged 4x4 to reach some of the best campsites in the park.

Heard this drive is absolutely stunning and well worth doing it slowly while you soak in all the surroundings. There are a few short side-trips you can stop and visit along the way, mainly short trails that take you to see specific massive trees and clearings.

I've heard you'll need way more time than you plan for as there are loads of cool trails at the top of the mountain that are worth exploring.

Such a cool part of the city to visit and so unique. I'd avoid the shops unless you just want to look at curiosities as they're pretty pricey and definitely aimed at tourists, but there are loads of awesome little restaurants and food markets.

The whole museum is organized into different rooms, each one representing a different historic period. To name just a few, Picasso, Van Gogh, Cezanne, Gauguin, Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Renoir, Rodin, Monet, Manet, Degas all grace the walls of this fantastic art museum. It's big so if you're like me you won't want to go through the whole museum at once, but pick a few artists you like and go see for yourself!

Pretty cool scenic bridge, a very, very long drop down to the river. Kind of takes your breath away! If it's on your way, it's worth stopping for a few minutes to take it all in.

This place apparently offers some of the best views in La Jolla. There's also a little natural kiddie pool where sea lions hang out!
