We stayed here a year or so ago and were very pleasantly surprised. I would guess that there isn't really a "Bad" camp sight in the entire place. This is definitely a "return to" place for us. We had a Doe mule deer and two fawns wander by our camp site. There is a very interesting 3 island crossing museum on sight. Far enough off the main road to be quiet and relaxing.
We have stayed here several times. It is in the trees. Tends to be well kept. I believe the largest camping spot accommodates a 32' vehicle. If you are into ATVs, Bicycling, or hiking there are numerous trails near by. About 2 miles from Idaho city (A must see! A cool old mining town with lots of history!)
Stayed several days here on business. The room was excellent. Bed was VERY comfortable! Room was very quiet. ALL of the staff was A+++. If I am ever through here again I will definitely be booking my stay here!!
It served it's purpose. A bed. Ill fitting bathroom door. Hole in the bathroom door. Hair in the bathtub. Refrigerator door would not stay closed. We had to place a suitcase infront of it to keep it closed.
Room was clean. The water was hot. Other than that I don't have much positive to say about this establishment. Was told the room came with a queen bed. It was a full size. Mini-fridge rattles when it comes on. Walls are paper thin. The motel is RIGHT next to Hwy 101. And the managers are standoffish. Almost as if they are expecting complaints or fights. The room pictured on hotels.com is nothing like what you actually get. I strongly recommend against staying here.
This place is a true gem. It is a throwback to easier days. They only have 7 rooms so you bett make your reservations early! No wifi, room phone, or A/C. However in this case those are not detractors. We were there toward the beginning of july. Opening the windows kept us plenty cool. If we plan to pass this way again, we will definitely be making reservations to stay again. VERY clean and comfortable room.👍👍
Did not go to the water park. All of our time was spent in the amusement park portion. We had a good time, road the coasters, and viewed the attractions. All staff were helpful and nice.
We bought our tickets in advance on line. As a result we received a $10 per ticket discount ($59 per person). The admission cost allows a person to visit both the water park and the amusement park.
With perhaps one exception, the food was nothing to exciting. Typical "Fair Food." There is a restaurant near the entrance of the park that is a very nice "sit down" restaurant. We were very impressed by their food.
Over all a fun experience.

Room was very tiny. But hey, we were just there to sleep, not live. It was very quiet. Black mold in the shower, thermostat broken, ill fitting bathroom door. Definitely a no frills room. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful!
