Delightful.
Big and beautiful and well cared for. Our site was close to road and we could hear the loud highway, but 90% of sites are far enough away.
Wow. Hidden gem. Week days it was practically empty. Peaceful, extremely well cared for. Great swimming, bike trails, and lots of pull through sites. Only electricity but nearby water.
Stop and stay. Plan for a short hike and explore the nature center. This is a Really cool place.
What a surprise. We really expected boring facilities being so close to the town. But the love and care that these owners have put into this place over the past 30 years shows. Lush oasis in a parched prairie land. Amazing.
We camped in cottonwood. It was basically primitive for RVs, but really beautiful and cool being at the base of the canyon.
Go and stay. This was great. I wish we planned to spend an entire day, not just an overnight stop. Loris to do and see right there. Campgrounds were shaded in many spots. Primitive toilets at one end, but clean bathroom and shower in mid park.
Really big! Hard to find initially. On the slight out skirt of town up on a hill in a park.
Nice state park for camping. Clean bathrooms. Only problem was the beach for swimming was not on the lake like I thought it was.
This is a wonderful campground. Lots of seasonal and permanent trailers. But they gave us and our little T@B tear drop camper the best lakeside spot. There are long docks to sit on, a children's play ground and small beach. The bathrooms were spotless. We only stayed one night but it was great.
