We paid the $10 to get in and just took pics of the mountain. They have an amusement park, sky lifts, a duck tour, and more. You could stay here all day.

It's off the beaten path, but worth it. Very mysterious. The drive from the interstate was beautiful--lakes and farmland. The nearby town of Elberton is the Granite Capital of the World. A very interesting side trip.

A definite must-see. Look for the signs. You don't see any of the beauty driving across it. The lookout platforms are a beautiful walk through the woods down sturdy, wide stairways. Just be prepared to get back up!

Everyone should see this place! The whole family loved it! The gallery with all the busts is so cool! Chock full of history. Everyone has a favorite team and player right?

We really enjoyed this tour! The museum is open till 8pm on Thursdays with free parking and half price tickets($6 each). The tour is only 30 min long, so it won't hold up your travels too much. The kids enjoyed it. FYI, they don't allow pictures on the tour--Slugworth might be looking for the Everlasting Gobstopper ;-)

It's a good stopping point to get out and stretch your legs. The kids thought it was cool.
