Awesome place! Definitely worth the stop. So charming and so much history. The front stone step is even worn from use. Lots of treats and hand crafted items as well as decor. There are also a couple boutiques on the street and a really big antique store.

If you like history then this is neat and significant. I printed off the history of this and read it to our group so that everyone knew what made this a big deal. The full story isn’t available on site so make sure to look it up. I got my info from Wikipedia.

Fun stop. We stopped on a Monday so the only place that was open was the general store but the other places in the town were still neat to see on the outside. The general store was cool. Our two teenage kids liked it a lot. The winding road in and out made it an interesting drive.

Just spent the night there. Nice property. Very hospitable owners. Yes, it's an older establishment so go expecting that. However, our wigwam was clean. You could smell the clean. Air-conditioner worked well. Beds are full size but that worked fine for our family of 4. Fun place to stay for a night or 2 if you are doing something in the area.

Clean, friendly staff, great selection for breakfast, and a nice little pool to cool off in.

It's a neat thing to see but there is no information about it or anything outside of it. Makes for a fun picture and a two minute stop.

There is a ton of neat history here. The owners/operators were very knowledgable and very nice people. They are doing a great job at preserving an interesting piece of history.

Hands down a very cool stop! The kids were impressed and we all enjoyed hiking offside of the road. We also liked walking across the reconstructed lower bridge that was in the navigation.

Clean room. Adequate breakfast. Great shower. Good place to stay for a night with the kids. They also offer military discounts.
