This was the best place on a stop. I came in here on a lightning storm, got a garage for my convertible, and was treated to load time hospitality. It is absolutely a gem, do not miss this one
By the time I got here, it was closed, but you absolutely must get off and take a picture of the halfway point. Lots of people there sharing photographs with each other, and helping each other get great photo moments. It was the best moment on the trip since we were halfway finished.
This place is a nightmare. Thank Disneyland on steroids. There was nothing friendly about this place, and the servers didn't really even know where route 66 was. The garish looking rooms, coupled with a 45 minute wait for a steak was insane. I went up the road to Saltgrass.
This is the type of place that makes route 66 so much fun. With all the graffiti on the wall, and the absolutely sweetest hostess and servers, it's one of those places you just must see. It was the beginning of my Oklahoma stretch out of Tulsa, and got me going for the day. I
This is definitely a must stop. Ask the locals what their favorites are. I had a lemon cheesecake concrete with raspberries and it was the best thing I have eaten. You're not supposed to stop everywhere but this is one of those that you just simply must do.
Don't bother to stop here it's a little tiny room, and the proprietors barely looked up when I walked in.
