Photos of the water park were depicted as if part of the hotel and it is not. Although the park is next door, it is called ABQ Surf n Slide. We picked the hotel mostly for that reason and the park was closed on the day we were there.
The hotel in itself is clean, comfortable and has a pleasant staff.
More than I expected. Gorgeous artwork spread throughout the park. We parked on the street, right next to the park. Took some great photos.
The falls were almost dry when we visited but the hike to any of the canyons was beautiful. And worth the visit. Easy parking. The lodge is right there and in it, a good atmosphere restaurant. Also, a more casual dining outside with live music in the evening. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it.
Very cool experience! Definitely worth the detour!
Do not use your GPS. Take exit 170 and head EAST . sats0303 directions are the best!!!
